This is the etch primer Ron used in the restoration video. He said the spray was even, coated well and done the job well.

One can is enough to give an anglepoise lamp 2 coats of primer as recommended.

The trick to best results is to de-grease the work piece and spray above min temp, higher the better.

Autotek etch primer is an acidic grey primer for improved adhesion to bare, galvanised and zinc-coated steel.
Also suitable for application to aluminium, fully cured paint finishes, GRP and most rigid plastics.
If using a water-base top coat check compatibility before first using this product.
